EPITOME - Episode 12 - The Decameron - "The Three Rings"
The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio, a Florentine writer who
lived from 1313 to 1375, is a story of seven young women and three young men in
14th century Italy who take shelter in a secluded villa outside
Florence from the epidemic known as the Black Death ravaging their city. While
thus sheltered for ten days, they take turns telling stories. This is one of
them.
